In this article, we look at the best WooCommerce themes for electronics and computer stores in 2017. Mobile and cellphone providers, camera shops, DVD/Blu-Ray retailers, video game stores, and other pimps of technological gadgetry looking to build or extend their online presence and hawk their wares ought to find something here to help them out.
Due to the sheer volume of WooCommerce themes on the market, to narrow the focus, we selected themes with electronics shops and computer stores in mind. But any one of these WordPress e-commerce themes could be adapted for other uses. A few include skins appropriate for apparel (though we’ll be posting another round-up for fashion retailers later). All the themes support WooCommerce.
Our selections are based primarily on design quality. Pixel perfect, contemporary, and tasteful design was key. User experience (UX) was also taken into consideration. Bloated, laggy themes that favored gimmicks and flashy animations over usability didn’t make the cut.
If you’re looking for hosting for a WordPress e-commerce theme, we recommend Bluehost. If you’re not, forget we said anything. Moving on…
Bigboom started life as a Magento theme before being ported to WordPress and WooCommerce in April. Although not designed exclusively for electronics retailers, the clean, professional aesthetic definitely lends itself well to promoting TVs, computers, home audio, and all that fun stuff. It’s also a good match for stores retailing a wide range of merchandise, ala Amazon, Walmart, and Bestbuy. T-shirts and other apparel wouldn’t look out of place next to the DVDs and smartphones.
Three pre-defined layout styles are included, and an extensive options panel gives you plenty of settings to adjust in order to brand Bigboom as your own. The always-welcome Visual Composer and Revolution Slider plugins are bundled. Visual Composer, for code-free, drag & drop layout building, and Revolution Slider for assembling visually-engaging, functional homepage slideshows.
Bigboom is user-friendly, SEO optimized to help you rank high in the SERPs, and it’s 100% mobile ready for customers who prefer to do their shopping on smartphones and tablets. It’s a a well-supported and frequently updated theme that’s WPML & multi-currency compatible. Highly recommended.More Info/Download
Next, we’ve got MediaCenter. It’s a clean, modern WooCommerce theme with top-notch UX design and it was built specifically for online electronics stores. It’s fully responsive and easy to customize, thanks to the advanced options panel on the backend.
MediaCenter is fully responsive, and built with Bootstrap 3. LESS CSS preprocessor files are included, too, for you developers out there. The theme also bundles in some nice premium extras for free. Slider Revolution, Visual Composer (for frontend drag & drop page building) and 26 customizable PSDs are included in the package.More Info/Download
Now let’s look at Flatshop, by the WordPress wizards at Themify.me. Flatshop not only embraces trendy, contemporary, flat design, but it’s 100% and retina-ready, so it’s going to scale to look great on any device without sacrificing any functionality.
Flatshop has a unique take on the online shopping experience, favoring parallax, one-page layouts over traditional grid catalogs. And it works. It’s a particularly good choice for retailers with a few high-profile products that demand a more of an elegant, upfront presence than older shopping cart layouts permit.
But design aside, the best reason to choose Flatshop might be the critically acclaimed framework its built on, Themify Builder. With Builder, you can create unlimited layouts using the sophisticated drag & drop page building and take advantage of the selection of (actually useful) shortcodes.
Further customization is a breeze with the admin styling panel. Change colors, fonts, backgrounds, upload your own logo and more. Flatshop is SEO optimized and fully compatible with the WPML plugin for translation. An excellent product.More Info/Download
Venedor is a rather large theme that not only comes with a skin that’s perfect for electronics, computer and technology oriented stores, but can handle a range of other niches too. Fourteen skins are available out of the box, and each looks unique enough that Venedor borders on being 14 e-commerce themes in 1.
The theme is easy to customize beyond that, and the developers have bundled in a whopping 42 PSDs just in case you really need to get in there and overhaul things.
Venedor is retina-ready and mobile-ready, so it’ll look and work great on any device. It comes with a few highly sought after extras as well: Slider Revolution, Visual Composer, and LayerSlider. Great value overall.More Info/Download

HomeShop comes on strong with a bold, vibrant and fashionably-flat design. It’s hands down the most feature-rich WooCommerce theme on our list, and the most flexible. Six header and six footer styles, fifteen custom widgets, and twelve different product grid layouts are provided.
Beyond the functionality that’s built-in, the Homeshop team has gone out of their way to bundle in as many premium plugins & scripts as possible (adding up to a rather ridiculous $194 value).
We think most people would have been happy with Visual Composer and Slider Revolution, which are included. But other extras include: WooCommerce Anti-fraud, Promotional Popup Window/Cookie Control, Google Rich Snippets, Deals of the Day, WooCommerce Prices by User Role, Download File Name, and IOSSlider (I don’t even know what that one is).
The theme is responsive and retina-ready (obviously) and the advanced control panel includes so many switches and knobs I’m not even going to bother going into it. Twitter widgets, Facebook Widgets, MailChimp integration…whew. I’m done. Check it out.More Info/Download
Hey, what’s this theme for? You get one guess. It’s safe to say the designers of Gameworld nailed it. This is one those WooCommerce themes that look the part inside and out. If you’re looking to sell games online and use WordPress to do it, I’m not sure there’s another choice. And if the dark aesthetic isn’t your thing, a light skin is provided.
Responsive and built on Bootstrap 3, Gameworld comes with several homepage layouts, a mega menu, and a testimonials feature built-in. For extra value, the developers have packaged in Revolution Slider and Visual Composer. There’s excellent portfolio integration too. Good stuff.More Info/Download
FlowMaster is a clean, airy, almost minimalistic WooCommerce theme that works great for electronics shops and computer stores (cellphone stores maybe?), but can just as easily be adapted for any use by motivated individuals. It’s responsive, retina-ready, and translation ready (with WPML support).
The advanced settings panel on the backend gives you full control over unlimited colors and layout. A drag & drop page builder is included. Slider Revolution is bundled for free.
We always go out of our way to encourage users to consider simple, straight-forward designs like this one over the bloat and bells & whistles of competing themes. It’s not for everyone, but if you don’t have a giant catalog, the speed and user experience will make a difference to your customers.More Info/Download
Woo Computer (or is it Interomart?) is another WooCommerce theme that looks the part. This one reminds us of BestBuy. Which might not be a bad thing if you’ve got a lot of computers, electronics, cellphones or DVD/blu-rays to move after hijacking that shipment down at the docks.
Woo Computer is responsive and resizes to look great and work perfectly on any device. It comes with five pre-made layouts for the homepage, each with their own color scheme. A Mega Menu is built-in, and the admin power provides you with lots of opportunity to screw up a good thing.
Google Maps, Testimonials, and a nifty portfolio are all integrated. The theme includes dummy content for a quick & easy install, and it’s translation ready.More Info/Download

BigShop is fully responsive and built on the popular Bootstrap 3 framework from Twitter. There’s a lot of customization tools on the backend panel, and the developer has wisely integrated WordPress’s own Live Customizer so changes and tweaks are previewed in real-time.

Shopping is a responsive WooCommerce theme built by the same talented folks responsible for the BigShop theme, above. It shares many of the same features – a robust mega menu, a vertical mega menu, and support for the Contact Form 7 plugin. It’s responsive and all that good stuff.
Like its brother (or sister – how are themes gendered?), Shopping includes both Slider Revolution and Visual Composer as free bonuses.
It’s also just as easy to customize, and uses the Live Customizer built into WordPress so that you can preview the changes you make instantly. No more clicking back and forth between the frontend and backend every time you try a new font.More Info/Download
Finally that brings us to MegaShop, an amiable-looking ecommerce theme for WordPress and WooCommerce. It’s suitable for a variety of niches, but lends itself especially well to electronics, computers, mobile phones and other technological gadgetry.
There’s five pre-defined color schemes and layouts provided out of the box (though only two are well-matched for hightech retail). The theme is responsive, as you’d expect, and optimized for both SEO and speed.
Both the design and layout are classic e-commerce, and we expect many of readers will favor this familiar looking theme.More Info/Download
