In this Siteturner round-up, we’ll be taking a look at some of the best WordPress environmental and activism related themes presently available in 2017.
The must-haves will depend largely on the needs of the group or organization building the website. Some features that might be worth having out of the box are support for the Events Calendar plugin, for managing events, and a way to accept donations, for fundraising. This could simply mean PayPal integration. WooCommerce support might also be worth having, if you intend to raise funds through merchandise sales.
We selected these themes by hand, and our choices are based primarily on design. The order is intentional, but taste is subjective and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any one of these themes.
Also, if you’re still on the look out for a hosting provider, we recommend Bluehost.
