In this valuation, we analyze the best consulting and finance themes on the market for 2017. WordPress is the perfect platform for building financial websites of all types, and we think any one of the following themes would be a great fit for consultancies, financial advisors, brokerages, insurance companies, and everything in between.
Although there’s seemingly an endless amount of generic business and corporate-flavored WordPress products on the market, we narrowed this list to themes specifically tailored to financial and consultancy niches.
If you’ve sifted through giant lists of “60+ best finance themes” already, we have good news: you won’t find any old, out-of-date or obsolete designs and features here. In fact, we’re skeptical you can have “60 best” of anything, so we limited this list to 11, and intentionally omitted themes older than one year from the date of publication.
The themes were hand-picked and carefully considered, and any that didn’t meet our design standards were scrubbed. Tastes vary, but good design is good design.
Before we get started, a quick plug: if you still need a hosting provider for your website, we recommened (and WordPress.org recommends) Bluehost. Inexpensive! Reliable!
First up, we got the Consulting business and finance theme, one of the fastest-selling WordPress themes ever. In under a year, this theme has racked up nearly 5000 sales. Compare that with most other premium finance themes–they usually don’t crack 500.
The success of this theme can be at least partly attributed to its nearly flawless design and usability. Not only does its many carefully crafted skins perfectly look the part, with industry tailored trends and visual cues, but the performance and UX is top-of-the-line.
The versatility is unparalleled, with 18 entirely distinct custom designs and layouts. Whereas many premium, multipurpose business themes feature subtle design changes from one demo to the next, each of Consulting’s 18 demos are unique. The developers titled each demo to reference a major economic center, like New York, or Dubai.
Further customization is made possible by an extensive options panel, providing webmasters with the tools to tweak colors, typography, and more via WordPress ‘s own real-time Live Customizer. Drag-and-drop page building functionality comes courtesy of Visual Composer, bundled free. Consulting also includes the popular premium plug-in Slider Revolution.
Google Maps support and WooCommerce shopping cart functionality add even more value. The theme is fully responsive and retina-ready for display on the latest mobile and high-resolution devices. Next up, we have Financed. I have a soft spot for light, minimalistic, and content-focused design. Less is almost always more. Yeah, I know that’s a cliche, but the developers of Financed have opted to omit many of the unnecessary gimmicks that drag down many premium WordPress products, in favor of streamlined, responsive UX and clean, airy design.
The white space, illustrative (albeit simple) navigational icons, and clear, professional typography go a long way. This theme is perfect for brokers, consultants, investment advisors, tax professionals and many other types of finance related businesses. Accountants, even!
Visual Composer is included, for drag-and-drop, codeless layout creation and editing. Financed includes useful features like mega menu support, pricing tables, and informational pop-ups. It looks sharp on high-resolution displays, and performs flawlessly on mobile devices.More Info/Download
Financial Vision comes to us courtesy of the famous TemplateMonster marketplace. This one grabbed our attention simply by being a little different: sometimes premium WordPress themes have a way of resembling one another a little too much. You know what I mean? Yeah you do.
This responsive, retina-ready theme is built on the Cherry Framework, a simple codebase that includes Bootstrap options, a number of shortcodes, custom widgets. Drag-and-drop functionality is powered by the MotoPress editor. A contact form is baked in, as well as a newsletter sign-up form. Google Maps are also supported. That could be handy.
The theme is SEO ready, to help you secure a top spot in the search engines ($$$), and Financial Vision is translation-ready/WPML compatible.More Info/Download
