In today’s article, we check out the best WordPress hotel themes available in 2020. If you’re building a website for a hotel, a bed & breakfast, an inn, a resort or even a campground, and you’re planning to use WordPress to do it, one of the booking themes on this list could potentially save you a lot of time and money.
The most basic requirement of a solid WordPress hotel theme is a working booking form. All themes that appear on this list but the final selection meet this criteria. Some themes provide booking systems that are more sophisticated than others, and many are integrated with payment gateways for accepting room deposits and payments. The most comprehensive, extendable solutions are the first two selections, and if you’ve been trying to make a decision, we feel fairly confident in recommending either of these two themes (and the optional BookingEngine plugin).
Our choices, as always, are based on design quality and depth of functionality. Experiences with support tend to vary from person to person, largely depending on skill level and expectation, and we don’t take this into consideration unless visible customer feedback indicates a major problem.
If you feel we missed a noteworthy hotel booking theme, let us know in the comments below.
Let’s get things started with…
Classy (HotelEngine)
The first WordPress hotel theme on our list, Classy, is one of two themes built on HotelEngine by EngineThemes.
It’s partly the high quality of the developer itself that earns this theme, and the next, top spots on our list. Classy is expertly designed with UX (user experience) in mind. It looks fantastic, and will look good on any device thanks to the responsive, retina-ready design. The striking, full-screen hero image on the homepage will make a strong impression on your visitors the moment they land on the site.
As a simple solution, Classy will provide you with the ability to take guest reservations through the built-in booking forms. But Classy is extensible, too, thanks to the BookingEngine plugin, an add-on that turns the theme into a full-fledged booking solution. With BookingEngine, users can search for available rooms by date, and hoteliers can accept payment via the integrated payment gateways. An invoice system allows your guests to to view their invoices immediately following a booking, or access it later.
Additional features include guest testimonials, a built-in translation tool, eight color variations, a drag & drop page builder and support for the bundled Slider Revolution plugin.
EngineThemes keep on top of things, too, providing new updates every week. An excellent support staff is on standby, and extensive documentation is provided. Very highly recommended.
