Today we’re going to take a look at the best WordPress tourism and travel agency themes out there for 2020. These themes were built specifically for travel agencies and tour operators. If you’re looking for travel blog themes, you should check out our previous round-up, the 15+ Best WordPress Travel Blog Themes.
When choosing a WordPress theme for your travel agency or tourism website, there’s a couple things you should keep in mind. First, you’ll need to be able to create detailed listings for your travel/tour packages. You’ll want visitors to the site to be able to search and filter these listings via an intuitive, useful search function. All but the last theme on our list meet this requirement.
You may also want your visitors to be able to book tours and make travel reservations directly on the website. An integrated booking form is recommended and, once again, all these on our list but the last feature a booking or contact form of some kind.
Finally, you may want to take payments online. If that’s the case, consider choosing a theme with built-in support for payment gateways like PayPal. Not all of the collected themes include this feature, but we note it when they do.
All of the tourism and travel agency themes on this list were hand selected, based on design quality and features. The order is intentional, though ought to be taken with a grain of salt. All are competent, well designed themes, and taste is subjective.
Before we begin, check out our comparison of WordPress, Wix, Weebly, and Duda, as you may find one of those options quicker and easier.
