Today we’re going to take a look at the best WordPress tourism and travel agency themes out there for 2017. These themes were built specifically for travel agencies and tour operators. If you’re looking for travel blog themes, you should check out our previous round-up, the 15+ Best WordPress Travel Blog Themes.
When choosing a WordPress theme for your travel agency or tourism website, there’s a couple things you should keep in mind. First, you’ll need to be able to create detailed listings for your travel/tour packages. You’ll want visitors to the site to be able to search and filter these listings via an intuitive, useful search function. All but the last theme on our list meet this requirement.
You may also want your visitors to be able to book tours and make travel reservations directly on the website. An integrated booking form is recommended and, once again, all these on our list but the last feature a booking or contact form of some kind.
Finally, you may want to take payments online. If that’s the case, consider choosing a theme with built-in support for payment gateways like PayPal. Not all of the collected themes include this feature, but we note it when they do.
All of the tourism and travel agency themes on this list were hand selected, based on design quality and features. The order is intentional, though ought to be taken with a grain of salt. All are competent, well designed themes, and taste is subjective.
Finally, if you’re still on the lookout for a solid, inexpensive and high-performing hosting provider, go with Bluehost. Or don’t. It’s your call, dude!

Blue Bird started life as a no frills HTML/CSS3 template, before finally being ported to WordPress. The most striking feature of Blue Bird is its light, airy design: it’s minimal — but not so minimal that it sacrifices any character — and the design is distinct and memorable.
Note, however, that this theme does lack some of the more sophisticated e-commerce functionality of others on our list — currently, the implementation of booking system relies on the Contact Form 7 plugin. This is a good option for small to medium sized agencies, but users looking to manage bookings and bill clients directly through WordPress will probably want to choose something with out-of-the-box e-commerce functionality (WooCommerce integration, etc).
We just loved the clean, contemporary design so much, we felt it deserved to be included.
Blue Bird is built on responsive Bootstrap-powered code base, and includes Visual Composer, Slider Revolution, and DrupalExp as bonus extras. And some developers will no doubt appreciate the included SASS files.More Info/Download
