Today we’ve got a brief round-up of the best WordPress wine themes and a few of the best brewery themes now available for 2020.
A couple of features to keep an eye out for when selecting one of these themes are an easy to set-up menu (or wine list) and WooCommerce support for online sales. The winery and brewery niches make up a very small segment of the WordPress theme market and, as a result, not all the themes on this list support both features. Some of the themes on this list – most notably, the brewery themes – were selected for overall design quality.
The first part of the list is wine themes, the second half, brewery themes.
All themes were picked by hand, because doing it any other way would be stupid. But, full disclosure: there’s plenty of brewery or winery specific themes for WordPress, but these our our favorites. If you don’t like what’s on this list, you could also consider adapting a more generic free theme, or just commission to have one designed from scratch. Some poor designer out there probably needs the work anyway. Not me, of course. I’m very wealthy.
But enough about me and my millions. Let’s start of our list of the best WordPress wine themes with…
Wine Maker
Our top pick changes occasionally, and right now our number one spot goes to Wine Maker. This theme was developed and designed to tackle all types of wine-related businesses. Wine shops, vineyards, wine bars, and even breweries (if you want to dig into the many customization options). The theme includes three great looking homepage presets to choose from, a variety of back-end options to play with, and over 150+ layouts. A store locator and event manager are also provided.
Wine Maker is fully supports a variety of popular third-party plugins, from MailChimp to BuddyPress (which you can use to connect users, or even build a full-blown community of wine enthusiasts). E-commerce features are powered by WooCommerce, and Visual Composer, bundled, takes care of the layouts.
Social integration is sensible and user-friendly, and Wine Maker is SEO friendly and translation ready. As you’d expect, it’s mobile-ready and fully responsive, ensuring a consistent, flawless user-experience and display across the full range of devices.
The theme is backed by an awesome support team, and it’s a breeze to setup and get running with the one-click demo installer. Highly recommended.
More Info/DownloadMomamia
Another one of our favorite WordPress winery themes (and general restaurant themes) is Momamia. It’s also the newest on our list and built on Twitter Bootstrap 3.1, making it 100% responsive. The theme is styled for use with WooCommerce, and allows you to build user-friendly menus with a drag and drop editor.
There’s lots of flexibility here, and room for customization, with over 90 options available on the back-end. Six page templates are included, three custom widgets, nine sidebar/widget areas, eleven slide backgrounds, and more. Lots of shortcodes are included, too.
Momamia comes with demo content for quick & painless setup, and comprehensive documentation is provided by the developer.
More Info/DownloadWine House
Wine House is our second favorite wine shop website template. It has all the features you’ll need to build a professional, awesome looking website for your winery, wine shop, or fine dining establishment. It’s also fully responsive and retina-ready, so its sleek, modern layout & design is going to look and work great across a range of high-resolution mobile devices.
Other useful features include a built-in ratings system, an online booking system for making reservations, and excellent gallery integration. Visual Composer is bundled free, for front-end drag & drop page building, and the premium Slider Revolution plugin is also included as a bonus.
Wine House is optimized for both SEO and performance.
More Info/DownloadVillenoir
Next we have Villenoir, featuring a classy, elegant design. Best suited for winery and wine sites, the designers aimed for an air of sophistication and (we think) hit the mark pretty well. E-commerce features are powered by WooCommerce, the most powerful and popular WordPress plug-in for building online storefronts.
Visual composer is provided for drag-and-drop page building, and the minimalist design can be tweaked on the back-end using an extensive array of options. A variety of custom widgets are provided, in addition to four different shop styles.
The theme is SEO optimized, translation ready, and extensively documented. Demo content is included for one click import. Built on the popular Bootstrap framework by Twitter.

More Info/DownloadWineShop
Created by the same team that put together WineHouse, above, WineShop is exactly what it claims to be: an ecommerce solution for wine sellers (or food, produce, and that kind of stuff) powered by WooCommerce. Four homepages are included, each with a distinct design, layout and flavor, and each boasting a lovely aesthetic that’s just right for the niche.
Beyond a comprehensive set of excellent features like SEO optimization, retina support, and a selection of custom widgets & shortcodes, WineShop also bundles a couple handy premium plugins you may already be familiar with: Visual Composer for code-free, front-end layout building, and Slide Revolution for assembling impressive, engaging homepage slideshows and presentations.
Plenty of options are packed into the admin, and WineShop is of course fully supported and optimized for modern mobile devices. Well documented and well supported with regular updates.
More Info/DownloadWhite Rock
White Rock is, without any doubt, the most popular of the WordPress wine themes available. It has over 3500+ sales on ThemeForest and nearly perfect 4.5 star rating. It’s easily one of the best looking themes available for fine dining establishments and wineries.

More Info/DownloadAgritourismo WordPress Wine Theme
A lovely, earthy palette – a warm, inviting color scheme – earns the AgriTourismo theme a spot on this list. Responsive as you might expect, and retina-ready, this one looks great anywhere.
It includes Visual Composer for page building and WooCommerce for setting up a shop and selling your wares. The premium plugin LayerSlider is also bundled as a bonus.
Photo galleries, custom shortcodes, unlimited sidebars and an events page are also provided. Good value.
More Info/DownloadWineStore or, The Vineyard
The final wine specific theme on our list is WineStore. Or maybe it’s called The Vineyard. It’s a bit difficult to tell. Anyway, we do know that this newer theme is responsive, easy to use, and comes with six pre-made homepage layouts to choose from. It’s bundled with a selection of free plugins: Revolution Slider, Quickshop, a Product Color Filter plugin, a slider plugin, and a shortcode plugin.
WineShop is WooCommerce compatible (good news for a e-commerce theme), with 10 custom widgets, and lots of room for customization via the theme options on the back-end. You know, unlimited colors and all that! Buy it! Or don’t. We just felt you should see it.
Now let’s move on to the best WordPress brewery themes.
More Info/DownloadThe Brew House
Our favorite brewery theme at the moment is The Brewhouse. The contemporary, stylish design is perfect for building a website for your pub, café, bar, restaurant, or whatever. Compatibility with the FoodPress plugin allows you to showcase your restaurant’s menu in anintuitive and visually pleasing way.
The Brewhouse also supports the Booked! plugin, allowing you to accept reservations and bookings online. Also fully compatible: WooCommerce, for setting up your own online store. Good stuff.
Visual composer, Revolution slider, and Swiper Slider are included.
More Info/DownloadMoonshiners
A fairly recent addition to our WordPress brewery themes roundup, Moonshiners is a fun, visually engaging theme with a load of character and style. It’s a fantastic option for anyone looking for a light-weight, easy to install theme.
But that doesn’t mean it’s not versatile: three distinct homepage layouts are provided, one for breweries, a second for distilleries, and a third for pubs. Users also have an unlimited blog and portfolio layouts to work with. Color options are in the back-end, and a PSD is provided if you really have to get in there and re-work some things. Though, frankly, I’m not sure why you would: this is one of our favorite designs on our list, and I’d probably recommend against changing it too much.
Both Visual Composer and Revolution Slider are bundled – par for the course at this point – and Contact Form 7 is supported. Video tutorials are included.

More Info/DownloadGrowler WordPress Brewery Theme
Now for the WordPress brewery themes. As far we can tell, Growler is the best available, in terms of design – it’s contemporary, flat and tasteful – and in terms of features.
Growler is responsive and retina-ready, as you might expect from such a new theme, and it’s easy to customize. It’s a fully capable e-commerce theme and features an events post type with an easy to use calendar.
Translation ready, and performance optimized. Built on top of the popular HTML5 Boilerplate. Photoshop files are also included, for when you want to take this lovely theme and make it ugly as sin with your own inept design ability.
More Info/DownloadPremium Beer
Here’s where things get a bit dicey. The next theme we’ve got for you, “Premium Beer WordPress Theme”, and the last three brewery themes on our list, are TemplateMonster products. They look fantastic, as TemplateMonster themes often do, but be aware that they’re best suited for non-developers interested in extra services like installation and hosting.
If you’re not sure how to upload your own logo using theme settings, and would rather just pay someone else to handle it, TemplateMonster is for you.
This theme is 100% responsive with useful theme options in the admin, and supports all the WP post formats. Translation ready and packed with 80+ shortcodes.
More Info/DownloadThe Brewery

Some of these are nice for small websites, would definitely consider one of them one day but I’ll stick to custom sites.
This is also possible if they offer SEO as part of their service.
